There shouldnt be a reason to proceed with removing a registry key for an application to function successfully. I would not suggest removing the registry key. If you had created a backupof your registry please double click on the.reg file and restore the modification made. If you did not backup the deleted key or registry, please run a System Restore prior to the deletion.
